Headliner, center console, try to keep it in the center of the vehicle if possible.
Do it right the first time

Place the sensor against an area of metal atleast 6"x6". The sensor needs to be installed where it will evenly cover both sides of the vehicle. The sensor can't work through metal, so be sure there isn't any metal in front of the sensor. Make sure that what you mount it to is VERY solid. Mounting these sensors to the roof is usually a bad idea. Environmental conditions like wind can cause the roof to move slightly and cause the sensor to false. If possible, try to mount the sensor in an area where you can easily re-adjust it if necessary. Patience is a virture when adjusting proximity sensors. Take your time.
