Burp Button? wha...? huh? Never heard of one. What is it? (all at the risk of sounding stupid, but I am NOT in the industry anymore)
It all reminds me of something that Molière once said to Guy de Maupassant at a café in Vienna: "That's nice. You should write it down."

it is used in spl competitions

all it does is put the frequency that u are looking for into your system for a second or two. this way u don't play sweeps or have your subs going for the full 30 seconds during the comp.
u just burp it and hit your score. and if u must do it for longer then u hold the button down.
i also think this way u can let the battery charge quicker during the 30 seconds too.
if u hold the buton down for like 5 seconds u still have 25 to go. during that time u can wait and let the battery charge a bit then hit the button again.
i am not too sure though, thats why i wrote the post. i would like to know more about it and how to build one.

You can go there and buy one profesionally built....

Basically it inturupts the signal from the HU to the amps....In other words putting a momentary switch inline with your RCAs going to your sub amps...You push the button the circuit is complete and the signal is sent you release the circuit is open and the signal stops....BURP.....But these look really good and are well made...
