need location of tach wire on 2001 nissan sentra

Tech data didn't have anything but you can go to any injector and used the wire that changes color at each injector.

ex. Two wires to each injector....

1st injector     -One wire black one wire blue

2nd injector    -one wire black one wire green

3rd injector      -one wire black one wire tan

4th injector      -one wire black one wire yellow

Use the wire that changes color ......in the above example you would use blue green tan or yellow.

dont go by that.  the way to find a tach wire is with your multimeter.  set  it to AC voltage, put the red in the positive battery post and the ground lead into the wire you want to test for your tach wire.  the voltage should go up and down when you rev up the engine. test every wire at the injectors and you will find one that reads correctly.

For tach go to any of the coils and use one of the following: BLACK/ red, purple, blue/red, or gray/red. Can also use blue/orange at the instrument cluster if vehicle is equipped with a tachometer.
