Ok, I have the unit and I know where each goes "that's easy" except one but how do you hook-up the parking brake wire to the the switch????  I am confused because the installation manual says I should hook the (green) wire to the 12-volt power supply side I guess and ground the other side.  could someone please explain the correct way to hook it up? I would really appreciate the help, thanks

Please, if you kow the anwser please respond and don't just view the topic. thanks

hook parkbrake wire from head unit straight to ground then you dont need to have park brake on to watch movies etc. if youre worried about it just wire it through a switch.
