I installed the 2wss-as 97 Acura 3.5RL instead of hooking up the siren I hooked it up to my factory horn, using the horn wire on the brain. But what I realized is that when I arm/disarm the unit the horn does not honk. Is this normal with the horn output? Any help will be greatly appreciated. Thanking you in advance.

This is normal,I installed a compustar alarm on a customer's vette  and he did not want the siren. So the only way you will hear the horn is if you panic it or it goes off.

Is there anyway to get the horn to honk when I press lock or unlock?

Your remote has that function you are looking for. Otherwise you have to mount the siren to get the honk honk.

You will need a relay to reverse polarity of the siren output so you can use the OEM horn.
