im makin a sub box with one 12 and would like to know if i should use 1\2" mdf or 3\4"

3/4" or 1" NEVER, EVER use 1/2 inch!

If its your first one do a good amount of research before you start. Seal it good and be sure the air space is correct.

get the specs on the sub and type in some numbers in the left side of this page and make sure to add the thickness of the wood 3/4!!!
