Hi,

need the wiring diagram for the power door locks, so I can isolate the drivers doors actuator from the other doors. So I will have driver door priority. The first signal will open the drivers door and the second output will open all doors.

I need the wire colors for the actuator in the drivers door for the 1997 toyota camry.

thanks

Did the car have factory keyless before?

No, the car never had a keyless entry before.

Okay...... because the models that came with factory keyless had their own driver's-priority feature that made it very easy.
Anyway, I'm sure you can find the wire in the driver's kick panel. You should be able to see pretty clearly the wires coming in through the driver's door boot, and then they'll go to maybe two or three plugs.
Just probe the wires in the plugs until you find one that turns to positive when the doors are unlocked. A common color for Toyotas is blue/black, but you might hafve to test all of them.
HINT: The wire is going to be medium-size, not the thickest or thinnest ones there.

I found the driver unlock wire, which is blue/black. Thank you mo12v and  Chris Luongo for your detailed instruction.

Now I wonder if you can tell me if I need to cut the wire and install a relay. Or I just spice the driver priority wire from the alarm system into the back / blue wire without using the relay.

Thanks

You will have to use a relay. The wire rests at ground and will need a relay wired 5 wire type.

your instructions have walked me through successful installations so far. I got alarm, keyless entry with driver door priority installed successful. There is only one issue left, which is tach wire. I find the tach wire. However, it could not stick my figure to pull it out, so I'll be able to hook the tach wire from the alarm unit into this wire.

My question is : do I have to move the air filter system out of the way to get the tach wire at the ignition coil, or is there other way to get this wire out.

I guess it's a 4 cylinder? You can see the coil on the side of the motor, just stick your hand down there and unplug the gray plug. I'm a big guy and i can get my fat hands down there easy. It's the black wire. You could also just go to an injector wire if you think that's too hard....
