Adding capacitor to alternator to filter

Wire it up like you normally would.  A capacitor is connected in parallel with the battery and alternator, so it will help smooth the ripples on the voltage going to your equipment.  There's nothing special about how he did it.  That sentence may sound a little misleading, but I think it's purpose is to tell you why he used a cap.  They could have said he upgraded his alternator in a seperate sentence.My ex once told me I have a perfect face for radio.
