Having some issues with the doorpins on my '02 Neon. Directechs calls for a tan wire for drivers door, blue/orange for all other doors. I found driver's door ( turned out to be tan/black ) but cannot find the blue/orange for the other doors. The only blue/orange I can find does trigger with the doors, but also is tied into the dash lights. I put a relay in to trigger my doorpin input on the alarm because the dash light flash was causing enough of a voltage drop to trigger the alarm. Alarm works great now but...... dash lights will not work unless doors are open.

Any ideas, suggestions?

Should be able to get them at the instrument cluster.... double diode isolate appropriately. Actually, you can do the entire starter alarm at the top of the dash, believe it or not!

That is where I did it all. Snazzy little spot for an alarm. My next thought was to find behind the cluster, to where it triggered the door open on the dash. Haven't found the anywhere else so will try there next.

the KEYLESS ENTRY Module located in the Center TOP of DASH, remove the dash top to access the Keyless Entry Module.

Vehicle needs keyless entry to have a keyless entry module.....mine does not. Put in my own doorlocks.

I found that center dash spot a good place for an addon fuse box and a couple relays to control my door locks. Nice and central.
I think i'm gonna put my keyless entry behind the cluster somewhere.
