You will have to either get the extension harness that relocates the factory radio to the trunk, or a data interface mod. Be carefull, Do Not Use The 12v Constant On These Type Of Mods! This will result in your odometer light diodes to burn out. I do mean burn! This could take 10 min. to a month, but it will destroy the cluster. The best option is the extension harness if you do not mind the factory radio hidden in the trunk. Just remember, all newer GM vehicals run everything electrical on a data link. Remove or modify any one of these check points, you could have some serious issues. Hope this helps.

i had a cd player installed at circuit city and they used a harness that eliminated having to put the factory radio in the trunk. it cost about 60 dollars last year when i had it done. hope that helps

it was an 04 cavalier. if you're doing it yourself, just make sure your very careful when taking apart the dash.
