I had a wierd problem and am wondering if any of you smart people out there could enlighten me since I dont know enough about how electronics work. I am running a set of 2 cold cathode rays that are connected to a single transformer box. When I first installed them they worked fine. Shortly after the would only light up about 3/4 of the way. At first I thought maybe it was a bad ground but the DMM showed a very low resistance. While the lights were turned on I opened the transformer box (genius idea i know). I ended up connecting some of the solder poins on the back of the circuit board with my finger and zapped myself. Well low and behold, ever since then the tubes stay fully lit all the time. Can anyone explain that?

Good thing that it was several thousand volts with low amps instead of the other way around...neons not lighting up all the way - Last Post -- posted image.
If your counting pennies and dimes then maybe you shouldn't be spending every penny and dime you have!!

Very true. If it did have high amps I would have made sure to lick my fingers first and get them nice and wet lol
