There is a port on the side of the 1270 with ground-negative trigger-power this port if for the ignition bypass/interface.

They sent me a 1250!!!!! so i'm missing that harness, which explains a lot.  Here's how I intend to wire things up, correct me if I'm wrong.  I'm guessing on the GM harness until I have the car in front of me, but here's what I have so far.

Heavy Power Harness-GM Harness: Red's-reds, yellow-yellow/black, green-WHITE/ black, white-WHITE/ red, blue-white

Main harness to Vehicle or GMDL-BP    Yellow-Not used;  Red-Orange(GMDL-BP);  Brown-Not used;  Orange-???; WHITE/ Blue-Black(bcm); BLACK/ white(not there);  Purple(not there);  White-Brown(bcm);  GREEN / WHITE-hood pin;  Black-Chassis ground;  Pink-White(brake switch);  blue/white-Wire(pcm)(not sure which engine she has);  blue-not used

Door lock green-green(GM), Red(Not There) Door lock Blue-blue(GM)

Instant Start(Not There)

Antennae plug is obvious

THe Ground while running/Ground Output/12volt output, isn't there on the f'n 1250 they sent me, but thanks to the above post, I use those to hook into the power, ground, and ground while running wires on the GMDL-BP

Does all this look right?  Since I'm probably getting stuck with this unit, will the 1250 easily work with the intrepid?

Well orange (ground out while running) will go to brown gmdlbp, green lock wire to green gmdlbp, blue to blue, violet to viol;et in the car diagnostic plug, pink and pinkwhite no connection unless it was alarm install also, red white to orange gmdl bp, grab constant power and ground in the car or some tie into them in the remote start harness ie main leads for constant and black for ground. Not to scare but as of recently I have learned that there will be alot of 1250's being sold on ebay and other variuos internet sales, mostly refurbished units I hope yours works out for ya. I was using a distrinbutor that is trying to push them worse than crack. Did the seller issue you a warranty with that unit?

The ad was for a brand new 1270, not a refurb 1250, but it's definitely a 1250.  I wish I could buy direct and get a real warranty on these, it has the "warranty card" but that's not good coming off of ebay.  I have a few more friends wanting me to put these in, and I would hate for something to go wrong with them, ya know.  I had to troubleshoot and rewire a viper 791 that car.  If I get stuck with this one, at least I can make it work for this one from what you've written above.  Thanks again!
