Remote Start, HVAC Not Working

Installing a Python 1400XP (remote start/keyless entry) into a 1991 Oldsmobile Toronado
OI've got everything working, remote start, keyless entry, trunk release, all of it, but the HVAC does not turn on! (car has the climate control system)
I hooked up the Orange wire from system, to Orange wire from Car, Pink/White wire from system to Brown wire in car, and switched the Pink/White wire to 2ns Accy wire... but to still no avail.
Radio turns on though, but thats it, the dash lights do not turn on either.   What am I missing here?
I tested voltage at both orange and pink/white, both are getting 12v with car running from remote starter. If i put the key in and rotate it to the on position, everything clicks on.
Any help would be greatly appreciated, as I am pulling my hair out trying to figure this out.

Your probably missing an extra ignition wire, which would equate to why the heat and dash don't work. Find the culprit wire in the ignition harness when the key is HOT +12v in the run position.
Is there a pnk/blk wire in the ignition harness you missed?

It appears all big wires under dash that come from switch have been tapped.
Heres what i have right now:
Relay Box to Car
Purple - Yellow (starter side)
Green - Yellow (key side)
Red (2) - Red (2) (each red has its own wire)
Orange - Orange
Pink - Pink
Pink/White - Brown (circuit has been changed to 2nd accy)
RED / White - Constant 12v

I have a 1990 Toronado Trofeo myself........I put my remote start in a few years ago though.......I'm tryng to remember if there's a second ignition like profuse007 lists.
At any rate, you don't need the brown.........that just goes to power the radio and wipers and such.

Haven't looked at car yet, but got my hands back on my service manual, and it appears profuse007 was correct, there is a light green wire that powers the BCM and instrument cluster (and the BCM controls the hvac system). When i get back home tonight i'll remove the pink/white from the brown wire and switch it over to this lt green wire and see what i get. Thanks alot.
PS: Not sure if possible, but might be benificial to other installers to include that wire into the wiring diagrams you have on your site here.

Alright, got it working. Thanks for your help guys, it was the light green wire i had to tap into...
now if only I would of tapped into the hazard switch for the flashing lights instead of the parking lights for the flashing. At night the headlights turn on automaticly, therefore flashing the parking lights is, well, pointless.

You say you have the factory GM service manual for the car? Cool, me too.
On mine, I used the ground-when-running output from the remote starter, to trip a relay, to interrupt the Twilight Sentinel during remote start.
There's a bank of small relays up above the glove box. If I remember right, you can remove the glove box, and then drop down the relay bank, exposing the wiring behind it.
(By the way, re-aligning the glove box so that it lines up and closes properly isn't a lot of fun.)
Sorry that I can't remember the wire color, or which of the factory relays I interrupted, but your service manual should help you.

I'll look at my system and see if that is an optional output on it (don't remember seeing anything like that)
I do know about that relay center, as i had to remove the glove box to tap into the trunk release switch and wire a relay right there for it. (as far as alignment, not that big concern as of now, the hook on the dash is busted off the plastic and is only held on by the vinyl glued to it, so it doesnt fully shut anyways, waiting for junk yard to get in a blue interior toronado (good luck))
By doing this this deactivates the twilight when the system is on running through the remote start, but when turn the key it will reactivate it?
