Yup. Not sure the model tho. I'm having so much fun with this I'm going to post a "name this amp" thread. Focus now. No way to tell you anything definitive from the photos, sorry guy. What kind of amp sale is this where you have to buy based on guts photos? Model numbers? Specs? Are you buying from a pawn shop?

Going with the advice of boulderguy, I'd also NEVER buy an amp, just because you can see a picture of the guts. I'd echo his question: What kind of sale is this? Did the seller give you ANY kind of specifications? As noted on the previous page, the Soundstream stuff would never sell me, looking at the interior... the puny power transformer, the tiny amount of filtering capacitor, the little 5A fuses on the rails. Looking at the Linear Power amp: the wired point-to-point connections, the TO-3 case devices (usually slower than TO-220 case devices - unless very expensive), another relatively small transformer. But LISTENING... Now there is a completely different story. The Soundstream ClassA amps sounded like almost NO OTHER AMP I HAVE EVER OWNED. (With the exception of the OLD Nakmichi PA160 monoblock amplifiers (I had 2 of those...)) The Linear Power amplifiers were absolute POWERHOUSES. The money spent on them was money ahead. Some of the best bass I ever installed. LOTS of current, for control, decent damping factor, way underrated. All I am saying is this: You can't tell. They may be laid out pretty, (and most of those are, to be sure) but the components chosen by the manufacturer to go INTO the appliance have FAR more to do with the capacity, quality, and capability of ANY electronic device.It all reminds me of something that Molière once said to Guy de Maupassant at a café in Vienna: "That's nice. You should write it down."
