Hey guyz i got this sony 15" sub i have had it for abut 6 months never used sittin in the garage cause i havent had time to stick it in car or anything. but i am gonna make up a box 4 it and was wondering are square boxes (u know wat i mean like rectangular prisims) bad or should i make up a different shapeed box. or just buy one?????

You should always angle either the front or rear side of the enclosure. This eliminates stagnant waves and cancellation inside the enclosure.

If you have a smaller enclosure you really don’t have to worry about this. It applies more to enclosures with a larger volume.

how big is a big box would that be about 1.4 cu.feet ( that is the recommended volume of the box by sony for this sub)
