I have recently got a compustar 1 way alarm install and my car comes with factory keyless entry originally. How do I interface it so I don't have to carry 2 remotes all the time

noob

Your original post is weak, you need to list the year, make ,and model of the vehicle, and the exact model of the system going into the car...and exactly what you mean by "interface".....then we can help.

When I checked on Directechs it did mention that the factory alarm can only be disabled via remote.  That may be the reason why they told you to keep both remotes together.
