Every single Accord from 1998 and up has a chip in the key. No exceptions.
A new key from a dealership around here cost about $28. That's less than a tank of gas.

Apolgies, Enice and JWorm are both right in what they say, don't do at home what I suggested, I've got key through ign swi antenna wire on my own car but that works for me and I've also got multiple immobiliser cuts!

Just buy a bypass module.  If, for some reason, the chip that you glued onto the ignition cylinder falls off, good luck starting the car.  I wouldn't want to be stranded somewhere just because I wasn't worried about the immobilizer bypass!
