A few months ago, I installed a Valet 712T keyless entry system and two Directed 530T window modules in my car. Somewhere on this forum I posted a few photos of the install.
However, I recently came to the conclusion that I'd like to have all my modules installed in one central location - the keyless system was installed in my passenger footwell area and each window module below each front seat, which looked rather sloppy. The sound of the modules clicking was also a bit irritating.
So, I decided to re-route all the wiring. I retro-fitted OEM power windows, so I could route the wires as I wished to. I mounted all the modules below the rear seat, so with the sound-deadening carpet and seat over them, the sound is much more muted. I also placed all my relays (trunk, doors, horn, parking lights and radio-off-when-door-open) in the passenger footwell area. The valet button is mounted inside the glove-compartment, the LED next to the driver's side door pin.
