100 feet? There must be a problem with the unit. You can get 1000 feet from an astro with the receiver mounted under the dash and no range extender.

Call tech support, unless this is an issue with EVERY one....

It is an issue with EVERY one, and I agree with the old astros I got tons of ranges, we regulary installed the 2504, 2106, 2205 and all of them I have great range from, and the new 5224 has TONS of range, and its using a DEI receiver.  The RS613 brains are not the same as the other ones, and it seems like something has changed in the receivers

The RS613 first release may have a software issue in the TRANSMITTERS that affect the range. If you have some TX with low range, send them back for replacements. Your distributors should have known this.

Pat Gosselin

I have been using them and they work fine, but as Pat said they have some transmitter issues, it seems like some transmitter have a very dim led and some are bright..I love the small module though.
I wish the Distributors would at least send out a memo to dealers to inform them of a known problem. would save us installers alot of headaches..

Thank you for the quick response Patrick, I am an authorized dealer, and will contact our distributors right away.  Our distributor recently changed up some of their staff, and to be polite they now are quick lacking in customer service.
