starter kill relay not functional

I installed a Crimestopper 2016 DPII FM into a 2006 Ford F-250 6.0 deisel. (this truck was also equipped with the "Amarillo package").

The install went fine, everything functioned as it was supposed to but...I Installed a relay for starter kill (as per the instructions in the manual) after I did that the truck no longer started..armed or disarmed. I checked for power and was only getting power on the ignition side and not the starter side. I switched the relay and the symptom did not change.  I checked and rechecked wires and connections, and could not find a cause.

Any Ideas as to why I would not get power on the starter side? (for future reference now)

look in the manual and find the wire colour for ground when armed. if you see this wire, snip it and see if your car will then start. btw this is how the starter kill should be wired it
