I have a 1990 suburban with bucket seats,I bought two emerson 5.6 headrest monitors to put in them. My question is, the seat and headrest are one piece,is the install the same, there is ample foam, but how do I make sure they won't fall out.   Thanks for the time

The installation is basicly the same. Most of the time there is some kind of metal or bracing in the seat that you can affix the monitor shroud to. Just make sure to trace the monitor shroud to the seat material and then cut inside of that mark about a 1/4 of an inch or so. This will keep you from cutting too much of the material and make for a better fit. To mount the monitor you can use self tapping screws(if there is metal in the headrest) or try using a back strap to anchor it to some sturdy part of the headrest. Just take your time and think before you cut. Good luck! Brian

Just to add to what brianh said, you can also use some heavy-duty cable ties for mounting if the screws and straps won't work.
