I've installed a 530t in a 2002 Trailblazer that has factory auto down on the front two windows. The 530t responds properly, but it stops after about two inches on the way down. I believe this is related to factory down feature, which appears to be inside the switch. Has anybody installed a 530t in this vehicle or one of its sisters (Envoy, Bravada, etc) and get the down part to work properly? If so, how?
Thanks in advance

Was the 530t wired up at the motor? It must be wired between the motor and the switch, and NOT on the other side of the switch.

What would the other side of the switch be? There is 12v and ground going to the switch and then two wires going from the switch to the motor. I've cut the wires going from the switch to the motor and made connections there. I don't know what you mean by the other side of the switch.

On the 530t, there is a resistance dip switch - you may want to check that too.

Everything was wired correctly. I figured it out. You have to press the switch just right so that the factory auto down relay does not latch. I took the switch apart last night to see if I could get around the relay, and I noticed that there are five contacts on the down side. Today, I was trying it out and found that if you only press the side of the switch, it will work.
