I have a 5 wire alternating door lock system on my car that is operated by the alarm output and I want to add a double throw momentary switch for the door locks, 1 wire coming from terminal 30 of the relay locks and the same terminal on the other relay unlocks, when connecting the wires from terminal 30 to either side of the switch which wire do I use as a common on the switch.

No need to connect to terminal 30 of each relay. Connect to the coil of each relay to lock and unlock. These will be on the same terminals that your alarm's lock and unlock outputs are connected.

Thanks, but still a little confused as to what the common wire should be, I want to use a double throw single pole
momentary rocker switch, lock goes to one terminal, unlock goes to the other terminal what goes on the third terminal, is it the other side of the coil or am I trying to use the wrong switch
      Lock....to lock relay coil
      Common.. ?
      Unlock...to unlock relay coil

If your alarm provides a ground to each relay coil, then the common on your switch should also go to ground.
