Just one resistor, 1500ohm for unlock. Lock is a straight negative pulse....

I realized today that Ace hardware can now sell and cut chip keys like the PK3+. You can buy the key and get it cut, program yourself, and buy a 556UW for cheaper than most aftermarket bypasses....

That's true...GM's pretty easy too, you only need one working key to program another. But then a 556U doesn't take care of the stupid mux ignition switch.
