ultrastart 1270tl in '94 ranger

I bought an UltraStart 1270TL to install in my '94 Ranger and wanted to make sure I had everything straight before I got started. I've installed a few alarms but never a remote start. The truck currently has an Audiovox Prestige alarm installed but not by me. I plan to remove it while I install the UltraStart because I don't even have remotes for it anyway. Is that correct?

The first white wire from the UltraStart is the "2nd Ignition" and the second white is the parking lights. What is a "2nd ignition" anyway? It was listed on both the truck and the ultrastart so I just assumed they went together.
