yes PURPLE / red - lower plug of ECM - ECM stands vertical - its either the bottom plug or second up - can't remember.

Also it might be under the radio also, below(not behind) the temperature control there are like 5 or 6 PURPLE / reds. The plug it goes into is taped pretty well with black tape,  they are all common there. I know they are there in the late model 4runners. Its worth looking since you have to take all that out anyway to remove the radio
