What type of output is the led output on DEI systems? Is it a positive flashing or a negative flashing output? I'm designing a circuit to run hyperbright LED's straight from the existing LED output from a viper 800. I want the hyperbrights to flash with the existing LED.

thanks.

It is a +2(two)V negative flashing output. It can support upto five leds wired in series.
