I have a chance to get a 12 inch Hart subwoofer in a box for $50 its been sitting in a guys garage since it was new never hooked up. I was wondering what everyone thought about Hart subwoofers good bad?

I looked at some of the published specs.  It's probably worth your $50 if:  you push on the cone and it moves;  the box is well built and simple sealed design;  you're content with 150 - 200 watts of sub;  the impedance works with your amplifier.

Wonder who owns and operates Hart out of Calabasas?  It's not exactly an industrial town.

Build the box so that it performs well in the worst case scenario and, in return, it will reward you at all times.

Looks like Hart is a small private label outfit who buy their speakers from one of the main fabrication houses.  Physical appearance seems similar to Kicker to me...

Yeh, I thought the same thing, Calabasas? About 12+ years ago Hart had some drivers that showed up in a few shootouts. Can't remember how they did.
