i there i have currently a viper 791xp installed in my car with all the features (turbo timer/ remote start) i was interested in getting a python 990xp since i lost my alarm key and figured i could just upgrade it with the sst technology for not too much more.. so i wanted to know if i would be able to just switch out the brain of the unit and reporgram the new key to it.. would this work or not because i wasnt sure if everything else is the same besides the brain (alarm receiver and such) thanks beforehand

just change the alarm brain and the whole antenna, the wire and the antenna unit like megaman said, and then program the settings on the 990xp
