Your absolutely right in grabbing the locks at the BCM but I didn't want to solder into factory wiring if not necessary and use the XK01 for this.  I did receive the XKloader today checked the firmware and it said it was AMDL 6.0 but I reflashed it with a fresh download anyway.  This fixed the problem. I hooked it back up set it to type 4 and presto everything is working now.  Maybe had an interrupted flash previously?
