I am installing a audiovox remote starter in my 93 Toyota Camry XLE - 6 Cylinder.  The installation manual say that the remote starter module provide a low voltage current (300 mA max) for interior light supervision. The manual recommend to use an external relay. I understand that my car uses an Integration Time out Relay. Once the door is closed, the light stays on for a few seconds and then fades away. Does anyone know if I really need an external relay for dome light supervision? or if there is a already a factory relay in the car for dome light supervision. I would really appreciate feedback.

Well, if you want to hookup dome light supervision than you will need a relay to do it. If you don't want to hook it up than you don't need a relay.
Dome Light Supervision operates when you disarm the alarm system than it comes on for 30 seconds. It will turn off the dome light after.
Good luck

You do need to use a relay for the '93. The integration relay is built into the fuse box; even if it were at all possible to do something with it, it would be extremely difficult.
The domelight wire is RED / white at the top of the fuse box; this is where you'd tie your relay in.
Also, if you unlock your doors with the key, do the domelights come on? I don't think this was the case for '93, but if it is, let me know, as there are a couple more tricks you can do.

[Thanks a lot for the reply. I checked my door locks and the interior light does not come on when I lock my door with key, but it does come on when I pull and release my outside door handle. I  did find the door trigger wire, it shows +12 volts when the doors are closed and shows a ground when the door is open. Thanks again for the help.
