2 amps 2 subs same air space

I want to use 2 mono block amps running off the same signal. One signal from the head unit and the pre amp out of the first amp. I want to run 4 subs using the same air space but wire 2 subs per amp. Is this possible since it is the same signal right. I would hate to build a wall in between the 2 subs and save the time and run them in the same air space.

Sure, you can, but it's not advised.

If any of the subs (or amps) goes out, then the other subs will have too much airspace. This can easily lead to overexcursion and will damage the remaining subs.

Put each sub in their own airspace.

Thanks for the advice. I never thought of that. If that does happen it will be a good reason to work on a different set up. I can't keep the same set up for too long anyway.
