I have a 98  grand am (passlock 1) with a viper 571xv and a 555l bypass kit randomly cause the car to stop running if the bypass kit is not working properly? This is even while driving the car and it hasnt been remote started

sounds as if you may have a bad connection on one of your ignition wires, or you may have a fuel pump problem(GM vehicles are famous for fuel pump issues).

Just posted in another thread - you can be certain it's not a Passlock problem. Passlock will only cut off fuel during initial startup.
