I am looking @ getting a GPS (Tom Tom) Or ( Garmin) Just wondering which  units dont charge, for map downloads?.

Neither give you free updates.

The both "do the same thing" but my customers at Cabelas tell me the Garmin is far easier to use.

I have a 765T and it's a great unit.

The tommy units might be a bit less costly, but there not as nice to look at.

I made my choice I got the tom tom one 3rd edition, It works pretty well, Also thanks for youre input, One the response.

Would of definitely gone with garmin, but im sure you found that unit at a very cheap price considering its over a year old.
