Its a 2000 deville without Bose. The problem is with the wiring. I have never seen anything like this. Here is a diagram I did with paint:

Now, the problem is with the harness. I have this one:

There are at least 4 wires on the aftermarket harness that do not go to anything. This IS the correct harness for the car but none of the wires match. I pulled all of the wires out of the aftermarket harness in order to rearrange them with the wiring shown here:

However, I am lacking several colors on the stock harness. The car has never been messed with. Here is a pic of the stock harness:

Those twisted pairs wrapped in clear plastic clearly indicate an amplified system.  It may not be Bose, but it's something.  That may even be one of those vehicles that you have to do factory relocation, to keep the BCM from screwing up.  The amp is probably on the back of the rear seat, behind a bunch of bracing.  You'll have to run wires to the trunk....one of those wires in that harness is surely data.  So you're looking at running all of those wires, PLUS all of your speaker leads to the rear of the vehicle...AND doing an amp bypass while replacing all speakers.  Fun, huh?
