Let me preface by saying I've done over 30 remote starter installs but they've all been using Crimestopper units.. I've moved over to Compustar because Crimestopper officially sucks and I'm looking over the manual.. Needless to say I'm utterly confused..
Do I need to purchase an OP500 to program something as simple as a 2nd starter / ign / accessory wire? In the manual it shows a "Special Option Group" for the "POC" wires on CN3.. Well, the 2nd starter, 2nd accessory, and 2nd ignition wires are all "POC" wires..
Someone, please let me know.
Thanks!

All the wires listed as POC wires can be changed to any one of 19 different functions but as a default, these wires will perform their respective functions. YOu will need the OP500 in order to change the POC wires, but it only depends if you need to. I've installed 1000's of Compustar units and have only had to use the OP500 to change POC wires a handfull of times.
