Did you take any pics of the board...what value of resistor did they use? Everytime i do one of these damn chrysler vehicles, i end up having to wire my own relays to the mux wire for one reason or another. Just did an 08 avenger the other day, and the module would not kick on the climate controls. Did an 07 ram not too long ago, and the truck wouldn't start with the module....same as yours. I use relays to the mux, and everything works fine. i've used bypasskit stuff ( same module you used) and fortin stuff with the same results.

they used a 1000 ohm resistor across the ground input (black) and the starter input (green), the reason they did this was to bring the starter wire to a ground referance when not cranking, also you have to connect to the mux wire as close to the wires coming out of the ign switch as possible, this is very important, on the ram, the connection has to be connected between the switch and the transponder loop wire, it is usually in a black tube
