May I jump on this thread, as my application is somewhat relevant [I hope] ? MY Spal switches have SIX tabs on back. Guessing one is for illumination ?

Does the schematic diagram above work the same on my particular switches ?

240z Yes fifth terminal is illumination, can't remember how it's wired, you'll have to contact Spal for that info, it's about 5 years since I used to fit them and I don't keep the wiring charts anymore, sorry.

im doing a power window conversion kit with a 3 wire swtich and 2 wires out of the motor should i do a 5 wire like door locks or something else appreciate any help
