Is this diagram wired correctly if i was to follow it? Ive had a look at a few other posts on here for wiring and it contradicts it :S

the diagram is wrong, the relay is wired correctly except for the green wire from the solenoid goes to pin 87 on the relay only and not straight to 12volts and pin 87 like the diagram describes.

The diagram is correct.

The green wire from the solenoid is not going straight to 12V, it's going to a normally open switch. When you depress the switch, it pops the trunk.

If you already have a stock "pull lever" to pop the trunk, you don't have to add the switch listed.

In continuing this thread, it would be wise to post your situation and Year/Make/Model of vehicle/components. You may already have a factory solenoid and the thread is moving in the wrong direction.
Ideal - cmon dude, add to topics in a useful manner, not stuff that is obvious.
Story - Phzzzt! Hey, what happened?! ... Isn't it obvious?
Moral - Never dismiss the obvious.

Thanks everyone, sorry for not posting my vehicle make. I wired it up yesterday according to the diagram and works great with my alarm remote and with the new push button :)

Sorry, you can NOT post a reply.
