hey all .newbie forum member here

i have a clifford G4 system on my car , id like to consider adding maybe 1 or 2 additional l.e.d's

my question is how many led can i run in total  ?  and what spec are the led , can i get a led from somewhere else other than clifford

The LEDs run at 2.5 volts, 3 are safe wired in parallel. DEI used to do a tech diagramme showing how to run multiples, maybe it's on this site. N.B. Change the red G4 LEDs for the Blue G5 model, they are much brighter. Red to purple and blue to black.

right i wasnt sure if the newer blue ones were compatible with the older g4 units

i can mix n match red and blue ones right?

if anyone has that dei diagram id like to see it

Yes, the LEDs are identical electronically

i have always done them in series and if i remember correctly clifford use to say you could do up to 6 when wired in series.  i even believe there was a tech tip in one of the old clifford binders showing them in series.  I have only personally done two or three at a time.
