got another question
this is my first time use aftermarket alarm i dunno if this is right ~
i lock the car with compustar remote then i manually unlock from inside open door but the alarm doesnt go on
shouldnt the alarm go on?
or that's what should be..

yes the alarm should go off, first make sure your alarm is not in valet mode, secondly make sure you have the correct door trigger wire,  the colour wire i'm accustomed to since i've been doing sentras is RED / white you can find it in the driver's floor loom, test to verify.

also make sure you connect it to the correct trigger wire on the unit which in this case is also co-incidentally RED / white.

Also....after you arm the alarm. Allow 15 seconds or so for the alarm to set up before opening the door.

shop turned it on last time i went for maintenance

The trunk release on G4 Cliffords was instant, and it could be made to not work when the alarm was armed, are there not any other aux outputs on that unit which work instantly which could be used instead. On G4 Cliffords, you could change the button functions around. Could this be done with this unit?  Thus use the trunk release button to work a different aux?
