Hey I drive a ford truck and theres not many grounding areas. Some of my amps have malfunctioned so Im gonna change some things including my ground. theres a 3/4 inch screw that I think Goes all the way through to the frame and its surrounded by metal. But under the truck there is a rubber clump on the screw. Will this hurt the ground?

what year ford?, did you use a brush to remove the paint. where you grounded it before. ford is still made really well,.i have had this problem before too. i just used any part of the floor. just use a brush to remove the paint away because ford puts on quite a few coats .
