I've been searching and searching and I cant find anyone who has posted with this problem.
I have installed HIDs into a 06 Mitsubishi Galant. This is the problem I am having. Everyone knows with the relay they flicker, well I installed the relay harness supplied with the kit and they still flicker. So I picked up these: (not the exact brand but some concept)
hid's flicker, 06 galant -- posted image.
With these install, both with and without the relay harness the HIDs stay on whenever the key is turned to on. The headlight switch pretty much only functions the running lights. I have tried with and without the daytime running light fuse pulled and still get the same result.
Anyone have any suggestions?

Where are you getting 12 volts from? The factory bulb harness won't work.

go to the battery. wire up a relay (1 will do for both HID's) and use the turn on from the factory bulb harness to trigger the relays.....

I question the fact on the DRL's These can prove to be a pain.

I am using the prewired relay harness that came with the HID kit. Red wire getting power directly from vehicle battery, black wire to chassis.

Measure the voltage at the bulb. make sure that is 12V. some HIDs will not even turn on, or flicker if its less than 13V. I had a problem with mine before...that was because my alternator was only charging 14.4V at 1000RPMs. my engine idles at 600rpms so the would flicker or shut off. So measure to make sure they are getting enough power...and make sure its a good ground too!!!
