Hi I recently installed a Viper 5901 into a 1994 lexus gs300 and can not figure out how to disconnect the factory alarm..
when i remote start the car the horn sounds and when i open the doors/hood/trunk the horn will sound...
im kinda stuck on what to do
any info would be greatly appreciated

You just need to disarm the factory alarm before remote start it is done through a RED / black wire that will show ground when turning the key in the door to unlock. Just hook up the factory alarm disarm wire from the viper to this wire and it should take care of the problem
