i think thats a good choice of sub and you shouldn't be disappointed. your amp is a good entry level amp, nothing really special about it. is that amp 1 ohm stable?

i would go with 1 amp. it usually will end up cheaper and less of a headache than installing and setting up 2 separate amps. i dont have too much experience with a lot of different amps (i keep my amps until the wheels fall off) but what im running now is an Autotek MM2000.1D, autotek is owned by the same company as hifonics but autotek is definitely top notch equipment IMO. i've had it for more than 3 years now, i run mine at 1 ohm all day and haven't had any problems with it even during competitions. what are you looking to spend on an amp?

no more than 500If the trunk dont rattle then its not loud.

If it's to loud then you're to old.

If you want loud, you got room for 4 12's. Either way, budget at LEAST 150$$ for sound deadening . Also, dont enclose the sound in the trunk. If you can, modify the rear dash in some way to allow for sound to escape.This is what I do for FUN!
