If it has new style truck wiring(which i am not sure of) there is no second ignition but 2 accessories(power must drop out during crank). Try programming the second ignition to accessory on the brain.

the 2nd ignition isnt required, and to do a starter kill you have to run those 2 wires out under the hood( i personally never do a starter kill on these new gms with the intellistart, the keyis solid protection against theft, and ive heard of misc error codes when the under hood wires is cut, never proved it but why chance it) i just would hook up all security/remote start functions and explain to customer a starter kill is not recommended on this vehicle and explain the security of the key, but all the notes ive seen on the h2 for 08 was still showing old gm passlock 2 ignition,1 starter wires, what color are your wires in the ignition harness? pink, yellow, white, orange, brown, red?
