Couple things,

Does the '09 Focus come wired already for the factory sub regardless of wether ot not it is installed, and if so what colors would they be?

Any help is appreciated, thanks

It may be wired for it, but the amplifier will not be there. Do you know where the factory sub is installed if it had one? There is a good chance the factory sub amp is mounted to the sub enclosure. So if you know where it would be, you can remove that panel and look around for a plug on the end of some wires that could plug into the factory amp.

If its like the 08 there will be a connector in the trunk where you can tap into it. BUT it wont work because if the car didn't have a sub in it from factory the stock HU wont have a place to plug in the sub woofer harness and because of that ford cut off the harness plug.
