Any opinions on the 2015 vs 554T? I am considering one or the other for two of my cars.
Would prefer to use one remote to control both cars, which is a selling point for the 2015. But I've heard that the 554T is also better built - is that true?
Opinions?

dei stuff is the "standard" ......... you might want to look into the audiovox prestige aps996 as well.

I just spent the last month looking for alarms and questioning installers here in Ohio. I got a lot of different opinions but one thing was constant from all of them and that was for me, a newbie installer, to stay away from the Audiovox aps996. They said it takes them twice as long to install the audiovox compared to the viper alarm.  I had it narrowed down to the crimestopper 2015 or an autopage rs750. I posted a thread here asking which is better. I had an installer/dealer on this site suggest I check out the commando fm760. I did, I liked it, and bought one from him and he even pre wired the relays and all the diodes that I needed.

I would suggest the DEI, simply because it is hard to find dealers that still sell crimestopper (at least where i'm from) except for internet sites. I personally have the aps 996 from audiovox, and it took me 6 hours to install it on my first try so I dont think its that bad. Just my .02
