So go back to the installers and point out where you live and have they heard of AC.  Know the Devil's in the detail  but I wouldn't dream of missing out any wires, too many anal customers, including one who recently reset the Valet code (4 digits, here) without realising on an alarm, then changed the programming,  came back to us complaining, said they would contact DEI and I told them they were welcome and to tell DEI what they'd done.

Simple mistake.
The BLACK/ green second accessory wire would appear to only power non-essential items such as the radio and windshield wipers.
However, it also powers the clutch for the car's air conditioning compressor.
The installer simply has to power up the BLACK/ green accessory wire at the steering column (it's right with the other ignition and accessory wires)......even the slowest installer should be able to do this in less than 30-40 minutes.
NOTE: In the future, during remote start, your radio and windshield wipers will receive power. Be sure to switch off the wipers when parking the car, and you probably won't want to leave the radio on a loud volume setting.
