If so there is a second start one thin white wire and one thick black wire

Just wondering if you did any work on the trunk release and the rear window defrost with your Viper 5701?

I have a 2009 Corolla with a Viper 5301 and they are similar in wiring and have been trying to get these items connected to my 5301.  The relay wiring is a bit confusing to me and don't want to something wrong..

Thanks

Rich

rear window defrost in the corolla doesn't need a relay, just use one of your (-) aux outputs and set it to 8 mins

as for the trunk release you need a relay setup for reverse polarity

Hi 05gt,

I plan on connecting the Blue/White 2nd Stauts Output from the Remote Start Input, 5-Pin connector for the rear window defroster. Where do I connect this Blue/White wire to in the defrost circuit??  After or before the rear window defrost switch?? Does this feed to a relay that feeds to the rear window defrost grid??

Thanks

Rich

just use an aux channel that way you have control of the feature, get the wire right behind the defogger switch
